HRi's co-founder and president Tim Schaffer is a leader in management practices. He provides services that enable sucessful small and mid-size business growth. As a believer in the future of today's American economy, he created Human Resources inc. and Temporary Staffing inc. Human Resources inc., an employer service, is located in Annapolis, Maryland. Temporary Staffing inc., a temporary office support service, has offices in Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington, D.C.

Tim Shaffer began his career in Baltimore. Before entering the professional employer industry Tim spent 17 years with Ryder Truck Rental at various U.S. locations. As a profit center manager, his responsibilities included human resources, sales and marketing, maintenance, administration and safety.

Tim has a degree from the University of Notre Dame and has done graduate-level work in human resources and motivation.

In 1995, he was recognized by the Washington Dale Carnegie Center for Excellence with their top instructional award for his leadership and dedication to quality instruction. Tim is an avocational instructor of the Dale Carnegie Courses in the Baltimore/Washington area, where he instructs in human relations, public speaking, and leadership.

As a regular presenter to local groups for Business Networking sessions, Tim does customized sales and human-resource training for businesses. His seminar on "Marketing and Sales Through Effective Networking" has been presented to hundreds of small-, medium- and large-size businesses.
In 1992, Tim was selected by the United States Information Agency to train personnel for the U.S. exhibit at the International Exposition in Genoa, Italy.
