4.5.  Continue drawing the line to the seam line by repeating the above steps and then end the slash line by clicking ENTER to end the PLINE command.

4.6. To immediately begin drawing a second slash line click the ENTER button again.  This will cause the command sequence to automatically repeat.

NOTE: REMEMBER! Any time you want to repeat a command, click the ENTER BUTTON on the cursor device.


5. USING THE CUT COMMAND

NOTE:  The CUT command only works correctly with a CLOSED polyline.  All the basic drafts are draw as closed polylines.  It is recommended that all flat patterning begins with a plain basic block rather than one that has been processed with seam allowances and labeling.
If you must work from a previously processed pattern, make sure that the  pattern outline is a CLOSED polyline.  (see section 12.2. for checking and section 11 for CLOSEING a polyline.)

Once you have drawn the slash line, SELECT CUT from the EDIT MENU.  The computer will say:
    Select objects:
        Select Object to be cut (pline):
