    After you have done all your cut lines, mark your seam "matching" positions with NOTCHES (or DIAMONDS) or tailor DOTS.   Place your first set of NOTCHES before you pivot or move the overlapping seam lines.

6.1.   SELECT the SYMBOLS MENU under the MAIN SEW MENU, SELECT MATCHING SYMBOLS and then SELECT NOTCH or DIAMOND and then SELECT the SNAPTO sub-command NEARest from the same menu.  Move the CROSS-HAIRS to the desired spot on the "slash" line and click the SELECT button.  

6.1.1.  After you click the SELECT button move the CROSS-HAIRS away.  Depending on how close you are ZOOMed in on the drawing, you will see a tiny or a clearly visible DIAMOND or NOTCH and a white line connected between it and the intersection of the CROSS-HAIRS.  This line is acting as a "lever" by which you can ROTATE the DIAMOND or NOTCH to position it properly in relation to the seam line.  Once you have it aligned click the SELECT button to place it.  This completes the command.
    SELECT NOTCH again and repeat the process to make a NOTCH on the other side of the seam line. ZOOM in so you can see the NOTCH clearly.   Use the SNAPTO function INTERS(ECTION OF) and carefully SELECT the center of the area of the NOTCH that is touching the seam.  This will cause the 2nd NOTCH to align with the 1st NOTCH.
