  or MOVE.  This can be very useful when keeping pieces or matching marks lined up exactly is desired.


11.  MOVE(ING) A PATTERN PIECE

Now move the two pattern pieces apart.   SELECT MOVE on the EDIT MENU .   You will see the menu automatically change to the SNAPTO SUB-MENU and you will see from the command prompt that the command is already engaged.  The computer will say:
   Select object:
11.1.    Use a W(INDOW) to SELECT the pattern and all the marking dots in one step.  SELECT W(INDOW) from the menu.  The computer will say:
        First corner:

11.1.1.   Make a W(INDOW) around the piece.  Picture in your mind a rectangular box that just fits around the entire pattern piece.  Place the cross hairs on the screen where one of the corners of that W(INDOW) would be and click the SELECT (left) button.  The computer will now say:
              First corner: other corner:

11.1.2.  Now move the CROSS-HAIRS diagonally across the pattern piece to the corner diagonally opposite from the corner you have just selected.  You will see the growing rectangular "frame" line form on the screen as you move the CROSS-HAIRS.
