IV. Use the CUT command unerd the MODIFY menu to cut the pattern into sections.

First SELECT the pattern outline as the "object to be cut" and then one of the cutting lines that you drew. You will see the pattern turn into a green piece and a blue piece.

(The inside green edge does not show on the screen because it is under the blue line.)

Cutting the dart out requires a second use of the CUT command.
